Amr Abodraiaa is the Co-founder and CEO of Rology, driven by a mission to improve people’s lives through AI-powered technology, particularly in healthcare, and to enable meaningful development through innovation.
With more than 13 years of experience in healthcare systems in Egypt, Amr combines an engineering background with extensive experience in healthcare and technology. He co-founded Rology alongside a passionate team working to transform the radiology ecosystem, improve access to radiology services, and push the industry forward through technology and AI.
Beyond work, Amr values time with his family and enjoys basketball and table tennis.

VP, Public Policy, Africa the Middle East and Türkiye, Meta
Kojo Boakye is Meta’s Vice President of Public Policy for Africa, Middle East and Türkiye. Kojo is an experienced ICT for Development practitioner, with more than 20 years’ experience working with governments, fixed-line and mobile operators, development partners, online service providers, content creators, and civil society organisations. Before joining Meta more than 10 years ago, Kojo was the Deputy Executive Director of the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI), and the Head Research and Consultancy at the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) prior to that.
In addition to an MSc in Development Studies, Kojo holds a BA in African History and Development Studies from SOAS, University of London. The history and socio-economic development of Africa, the Middle East and Türkiye continue to be his areas of personal and professional interest, guiding his work. In recent years, his work has focused on broadband affordability and infrastructure development; the use of mobile infrastructure and devices for the delivery of social services; strategic planning for ICT regulators; tech regulation, privacy, and competition; and the evolution of the Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence.
In 2023, 2024 and 2025, Kojo was listed among the UK’s top 100 most influential black people, demonstrating the “ability to alter events and change lives positively within the context of black communities in the UK or elsewhere, as demonstrated over a reasonable period of time”. He continues to be passionate about creating opportunities for youth across Africa, the Middle East and Türkiye, sitting on the board of Junior Achievement Africa and Chairing the board of the Global Digital Inclusion Partnership (GDIP).
Co-Founder and Executive Director at LAB-CO
Thomas Favennec is Co-Founder and Executive Director of LAB-CO, a social impact think-do tank that develops and implements innovative solutions to break cycles of violence and improve access to justice in Latin America.
His work focuses on some of the region’s most pressing challenges, including gender-based violence, organized crime, and the crisis of missing and disappeared persons, with a growing emphasis on leveraging AI for social impact. This includes developing AI-powered tools to support the identification of missing and unidentified persons, better understand how organized crime recruits young people through digital platforms, and strengthen responses to gender-based violence to prevent its escalation to femicide.
Thomas holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from ESSEC Business School.
Director, AI Policy, Meta
Victoria leads Meta's AI Policy team, guiding global strategy on AI products, legislation, policy, and advocacy. She brings a wealth of experience from in-house roles at leading media and tech companies, a prominent tech industry law firm, and the FTC. Victoria holds a JD from Emory University School of Law and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
Vice President of Public Policy for Latin America at Meta
Pedro Lees is also founder and Vice President of the Latin American Internet Association (ALAI) and member of the Inter-American Dialogue President Leadership Council.
In 2007 he started Google’s Public Policy Team in Latin America and led this team for 12 years. He has been a Law Professor on Internet Law for two decades. Pedro held positions as Board Member and Head of the Regulatory Commission at Argentina’s Internet Chamber (CABASE); served as Vice President for Public Policy of the Latin American & Caribbean Federation for internet & Ecommerce (EComLac) and the Legislative Commission of the Argentinean E-Commerce Chamber (CACE).
He has been an Associate Professor on Electronic Commerce at the University of Buenos Aires Law School and Coordinator and Professor of the Online Update Program on Computer Law of the Graduate Law School of the same university. He is faculty member at the South School on Internet Governance and an invited professor and lecturer at several Latin American universities and International fora on Internet policy matters. Pedro holds a Law degree from Universidad of Buenos Aires and a Master degree (LL.M) from University of Georgia with a thesis on international regulation of electronic commerce. He also pursued postgraduate studies in the Legal Framework of the Multilateral Trading System of the WTO.
